HOPE, known for their aluminum milling skills, also set standards with carbon. Whether seatpost, crankset or handlebars, they are definitely pioneers in terms of durability and functionality.
With the Chameleon handlebars, the British also bring color into play. Inspired by the natural model, the handlebar changes its color when you turn it, ranging from purple to blue to shades of green. This adds a touch of extravagance to your bike and the handlebars are guaranteed to be an absolute eye-catcher.
Of course, the inner values are also top-notch. The lamination of the carbon fibers was designed in such a way that additional material is used in areas subject to high stress and thinner mats are used in less stressed areas. This saves weight and allows flexibility and therefore comfort in certain areas. Nevertheless, the increased diameter in the rise area ensures high stiffness and better steering precision.
At 800 mm, the handlebars are the ideal width for relaxed trail and all-mountain tours. Slight up- and backsweep bends guarantee an ergonomic hand position, but it can even be shortened slightly if necessary. There are special imprints on both sides for this purpose.
Mounting on the stem is also easy. Marking lines in the middle of the handlebars help you to make the exact adjustment. This also applies to the attachment of the brake levers, which can be perfectly aligned with the scale.
